Michelle is the co-founder and Director of Marin, an independent brand strategy and identity consultancy. Since 2013, she has led the firm’s creative and strategic direction, working directly with founders and leadership teams to define positioning, establish authority, and build brands designed to endure.

Her work spans industries and continents, from global hospitality and technology companies to venture-backed startups and category-defining challengers. She has led brand identity and design system development for organizations including Hilton, Technicolor, and Vantiva, helping leadership teams translate complex business ambitions into clear, credible market presence.

Michelle’s approach bridges strategy and execution. Her background in hands-on design informs her ability to create identity systems that are not only visually distinctive, but structurally sound, scalable, and aligned with long-term business objectives.

She is known for her ability to move fluidly between strategic thinking and creative direction, ensuring every brand decision reinforces positioning, strengthens perception, and supports durable growth.

She’s a SAG actress who once starred in the horror film Inoperable, appeared in a handful of car and food commercials, and performed in a few delightfully offbeat off-Broadway plays. These days, her performances take place in client meetings—no scares, just better lighting.
